Along with Nadia's credentials and experience listen on our "About us" page, she has been teaching piano and voice for nine consecutive years to students anywhere from age 4 and up! Due to Nadia's passion for music and teaching, her lessons are both fun and challenging and her students are always progressing.  She strives to make her lessons enjoyable and differentiates her teaching based on the needs of each individual student.  She teaches all RCM theory and piano levels  (www.rcmexaminations.org) as well as blues and popular piano and voice.  She welcomes all ages and levels. 

Ashley has been teaching guitar for seven years, both privately and in music schools.   She teaches various genres and styles such as rock, pop, punk and blues.  Ashley will customize each lesson to suit the needs and goals of her students as they progress.  She recognizes the importance of keeping a student motivated by sharing the passion music and encourages them to have fun with each song they learn.  Her students will focus on how to read guitar tablature, chord symbols, treble clef notation and rhythms.   She also teaches students how to accompany themselves while they sing, write lyrics to their own songs, create chord progressions and strengthen their ability to pick out chords by ear. 

Nadia and Ashley have expanded their studios and now teach out of Barrhaven Music Academy, located at 2900 Woodroffe Ave in Barrhaven.

Having studied the Suzuki method for 15 years, Stephanie uses the basic principals of "mother tongue" learning in her teaching.  For the past 9 years, Stephanie has taught violin, piano and flute ranging from age 4 to adult, beginner to advanced, leisure or concentrated music studies.  Her warm personality, desire to bring out the best in her students, and strong organizational skills have helped her grow her studio over the past few years.  Stephanie believes that through music, each student can develop confidence, diligence, positive self-esteem, goal-setting and above all appreciation for the beauty of life.
